A belated congratulations is in order for our prototype team! Last week, our prototype team travelled to the state of Indiana in the United States to finally compete in the 2022 Shell Eco Marathon Americas Competition! After being the very first team to pass technical inspection, and completing 2 laps on the Indy 500 track, our team unfortunately began to experience engine issues. Ultimately, the second day of the competition ended up being cancelled altogether due to heavy rain, leaving only two teams out of the dozens that came this year to be able to complete valid runs.
Although our own team not able to record a valid run this year, we are still proud of them. In spite of all the hardships we have been facing for the past two and a half years, the members of this team managed to give it their all regardless. Each and every single member of this incredibly talented team put in a phenomenal effort on their vehicle, the Endurance, and they deserve to be commended for their work, especially now, knowing that the competition ended early due to bad weather.
The rest of us in UTSM salute you for what all of you have accomplished this year, and we also want to congratulate and wish good luck and good fortune to those in the team who are graduating this year!
