Last Saturday, the prototype sub-team took their respective vehicle out north to a racetrack in order to test it's performance. Here are some impressive pictures that were taken that day, as well as a summary of how the tests went:
In cloudy and cold weather, the vehicle was put to the test for the first time this year, with the structural lead of the vehicle, Shannon Lee, being its sole driver. To keep things short, the team was able to identify the areas to improve in their vehicle, successfully start the engine in their first attempt, make the vehicle reach a top speed estimated to be in between 30-40 km complete over five full laps! Unfortunately, due to heavy raining, the test day had to be cut short, but regardless, they did an amazing job! Outstanding work, team!
